No Sports Bars
A special message for AmCop readers who are Brooklynites: please be aware of this significant and not at all unpolitical message:
Most of us in living Brooklyn know very little about the proposed sports arena to be built on Flatbush, but it's time to learn. The deal is NOT about whether Brooklyn gets a basketball team, it's about 6.5 million additional square feet of malls, skyscraping offices, and luxury apartments the deal includes.I have to say--of all the information presented here, this caught my attention most unpleasantly:
Please join Stay Free! in supporting fair development and calling for public input on this real-estate deal.
