You go, Democrats:
Whew, it's a good thing that unions didn't spend millions of dollars and mobilize millions of people in the last election. That would have been a total waste of resources.

A half-dozen senators friendly to labor have decided to drop a central provision of a bill that would have made it easier to organize workers.
