WHAT A COUNTRY

Seriously.

Right now, you can go to Neil Young’s web site (neilyoung.com) and listen to his whole new album, Living With War. For free. It just starts playing right when you get there. And it’s beautiful. For even better sound, you can click for a pop-up player right here.

Listen closely and you might be able to catch a few subtle messages:

Let’s impeach the president for lyin’
Misleading our country into WAR
Abusing all the power that we gave him
And shipping all our money out the door

Who’s the man who hired all the criminals
The white house shadows who hide behind closed doors
And bend the facts to fit with their new story
Of why we have to send our men to war

Let’s impeach the president for spyin’
On citizens inside their own homes
Breaking ev’ry law in the country
By tapping our computers and telephones...

Welcome Worn

Is it really appropriate for a corpse to be dismissive of other corpses?

"Bay" "Buchanan," on CNN's "news" "program" "The Situation Room": "I think Katrina has worn its welcome.- I think the American people are tired of it."

Al-Zarqawi, in video, says he disapproves of Bush's job performance

Oh, an al-Zarqawi tape "surfaced" today, did it? In which America is "mocked"? Well, I guess America will just have to decide, once again, whether it sides with the mocking terrorists, or with the GOP.

"Please, please don't forget me! I hate President Bush! And babies, and freedom, and Jesus!"
